Today, we became aware of a message painted on the KSU rock that was offensive and insulting to many, specifically to members of our Black community. ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì University Assistant Professor of Painting Shawn Powell is being featured in a two-person show at Cleveland’s new Abattoir Gallery. His paintings are being shown alongside fellow Ohio artist Lauren Yeager’s photography, sculpture and installations. The exhibition will be on view from July 25 through Sept. 5, 2020.
