While each project addresses a specific community need, the overall goal of Community Action Projects is to enhance the quality of life for people who live and work in Tuscarawas County. Situated between two trees and overlooking the Commons area on the East Liverpool Campus is a beautiful bronze bench with a plaque that reads: “A life that touched others lives on forever.”  The bench was unveiled and dedicated on Sept. 30 to honor the late Dr. Carole A. The �Ը������� University Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 22, in Room 103 of the Center for Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement, located at 350 S. Lincoln St. on the Kent Campus.
