The 性福五月天 University Board of Trustees will hold its next regular business meeting at 11 a.m. on May 20 in The John Elliot Center for Architecture and Environmental Design on the Kent Campus.
Ohio is conducting a statewide tornado drill at 9:50 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18. 性福五月天 University will be participating in this test.
This year鈥檚 May 4 Commemoration, to be held May 1-4, 2026, will include special remembrances of John Cleary, one of the nine wounded students, and Jerry M. Lewis, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus of Sociology, who served as a faculty marshal during the campus shootings and worked tirelessly to ensure that the legacy of May 4 would endure.
性福五月天 University will hold its annual Veterans Day observance on Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 11 a.m. on the Student Green at Risman Plaza.
The outdoor program, Honoring All Who Serve, will include a flag-raising ceremony conducted by a joint color guard from the university鈥檚 Army and Air Force ROTC programs, remarks from 性福五月天 President Beverly Warren and guest speakers. Retired Petty Officer 1st Class Mark Gainer, who currently serves as president of the 性福五月天 Veterans Club, will be the guest speaker.
All are invited to come and pay tribute to America鈥檚 veterans. A special invitation is extended to 性福五月天 faculty, staff, students and community members who are veterans, active service members or who have family members in the military.
A reception in the Kent Student Center Kiva lobby will follow the brief program. In the event of inclement weather, the rain location will be the Kent Student Center Kiva.
