During the four-day Air Race Classic, �Ը������� alumna Laura Wilson and junior Peyton Turner will fly 2,400 miles and make nine timed flybys at airports in Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Alabama and Florida before landing in Homestead, Florida.

"Poetry and science are not opposites, they’re actually allies," said David Hassler, director of �Ը������� University’s Wick Poetry Center. 

Hassler paraphrases American poet Jane Hirshfield, who, in 2017, contacted him to collaborate on a Poets for Science project, which is now an interactive exhibit and writing invitation housed at the Wick Poetry Center on the Kent Campus.

Sisterhood is a strong bond. For �Ը������� alumnae Brittany and Christina Watts, their sisterly love has been the cornerstone of their academic success, leading them to earn their doctoral degrees and graduate together this May.

After 27 years of travel and pivoting to various international endeavors, Sonia Karkare, a native of Mumbai, India, is now back at �Ը������� as an adjunct professor with the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship’s Executive MBA (Master of Business Administration) program. She is teaching diverse types of courses, including the Digital Transformation in Healthcare course.

�Ը������� at Trumbull's STEM committee raised money to support the �Ը������� University Police Department's K-9 program. 

Three �Ը������� University College of Nursing students had an unexpected opportunity to come to the aid of a person who had fallen on a sidewalk while suffering a seizure.
