Flight Team Soars to Second Place at Regional Competition

The College of Aeronautics and Engineering hosted the 2025 National Intercollegiate Flying Association (NIFA) SAFECON Region III competition Oct. 19–24 at the ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì University Airport in Stow, Ohio. The week-long event brought together collegiate aviators from across the region for a flight and ground competition focused on precision, safety, and professionalism.

Bruno Ast, Visionary Architect Behind ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì's May 4 Memorial, Dies at 88

Bruno Ast, the architect who designed the university's May 4 Memorial, has died at age 88. Ast won a national competition to design the memorial in 1986. In his , it was said that he was especially proud to have been chosen as architect for the project.

ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì Celebrates 16th Consecutive Year of Military Friendly School Designation

For 2025-2026, the Kent Campus has continued the highest recognition of a Gold ranking for the second consecutive year. In addition, ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì’s Collegiate Purple Star designation, first presented to the university in 2022 for its support for veteran and military students, has also been renewed for three years.
