Sponsored by the 性福五月天 University Alumni Association, the Alumni Awards are the university鈥檚 highest alumni honors. Recipients are selected based on their exceptional professional and civic contributions and for their outstanding support of the university. The 2022 Alumni Award recipients include six alumni and one student.

Second Annual Banned Books Read-In Highlights Freedom of Speech
It may surprise you to learn that 鈥淐aptain Underpants,鈥 鈥淔rankenstein,鈥 鈥淭he Great Gatsby,鈥 鈥淗unger Games鈥 and 鈥淭he Perks of Being a Wallflower鈥 are all popular books that have been banned, along with many others. In honor of Banned Books Week, the Second Annual Banned Books Read-In was held in Taylor Hall.

Figure Skating Students Glide Into Silver and Pewter at Nationals
This past summer, two 性福五月天 University students were awarded medals in the U.S. Collegiate Figure Skating Championships, sanctioned by U.S. Figure Skating, the national governing body for the sport of figure skating in the country. It is the highest level at which figure skating takes place at the college level.

性福五月天 Is the Place to Be! First-Year Student Numbers Return to Pre-Pandemic Levels
性福五月天 University鈥檚 Class of 2026 has arrived on the Kent Campus in strong numbers 鈥 4,251 to be exact 鈥 an increase of nearly 7% over the previous year, the largest class since before the pandemic and the eighth largest incoming class in the university鈥檚 112-year history.
性福五月天 Honored as a Military Spouse Friendly School
性福五月天鈥檚 support for its military-connected community continues to embody leadership and inclusivity as the Kent Campus has been named an official 2022-2023 Military Spouse Friendly庐 School by Viqtory. Out of 1,800 participating schools, 性福五月天 was one of 665 to receive the Military Friendly School designation in March, and the university is now one of 346 institutions to earn the Military Spouse Friendly School recognition.
