On Saturday, Sept. 21, the ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì University fight song blared down Main Street, the city of Kent was flooded with blue and gold, alumni and friends gathered and reminisced about their ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì days, fans packed the stadium to cheer on their beloved Golden Flashes and the entire campus boomed with ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì pride.

Every other Tuesday, student volunteers from the Campus Kitchen at ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì University prepare dinner for the residents of the Kentway Apartment Complex, a government-subsidized housing complex on East Summit Street in Kent. At 5 p.m. residents gather in the dining hall and volunteers serve the meal which is prepared from food donated by Trader Joe’s.
