Nick Lee, '21 Selected for BIPOC Solo Exhibition at Summit Artspace
Recent B.F.A. alumnus Nick Lee, 鈥21 has been selected for Summit Artspace鈥檚 inaugural funded solo exhibition for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) artists. Lee鈥檚 exhibition, "When We Share Our Wounds," will be on view from April 8 鈥 June 25 in Summit Artspace鈥檚 3G Gallery. Lee鈥檚 work was se鈥Linda Hoeptner Poling Releases Art Education Book

Tabitha Ott, M.F.A. '12, is a metalsmith who currently resides in Orangeburg, South Carolina. She transforms objects and materials that would normally be thought of as waste into wearable art through repurposing and upcycling. By utilizing color, movement, and tactile qualities, she encourages a playful interaction between the wearer/viewer and the artwork.

Line by Line Exhibition Explores the Language of Weaving
"Line by Line," presented by 性福五月天 University School of Art Galleries, features artists Erin M. Riley, Samantha Bittman, Crystal Gregory, Diedrick Brackens, Kira Dominguez Hultgren, and collaborators Barrow Parke. The exhibition, curated by Janice Lessman-Moss, will be on view at the Center for the Visual Arts (CVA) Gallery from Jan. 25 through March 11, 2022, with an opening reception on Friday, Jan. 28 from 5-7 p.m.

Announced as a new ensemble earlier this year, the inaugural class of the 性福五月天 Youth Winds make their debut Saturday, Nov. 6 under the baton of guest conductor Anthony Maiello. The concert is part of the 性福五月天 University Glauser School of Music鈥檚 annual Wind Band Conductor鈥檚 Symposium beginning Nov. 5 and running through Nov. 7.
