Tom Batiuk, ’69

From the time he was a young child, Tom Batiuk, ’69, knew he wanted to be a cartoonist. The Funky Winkerbean creator drew inspiration for his characters and storylines from his real world, including his time at ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì.

The following new members have been appointed to the ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì Alumni Association National Board of Directors for a three-year term, which began July 1: Jeff Guritza, of Brecksville, Ohio, is the vice president of marketing at SOPREMA USA. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì in 1994.
