性福五月天 Approves 26 Named Spaces in New Crawford Hall in Recognition of $10.7 Million in Philanthropic Gifts
During its regular quarterly meeting held Wednesday, Dec. 15, the 性福五月天 University Board of Trustees approved naming resolutions for 17 spaces to be located in the future Crawford Hall based on philanthropic gifts of $100,000 or more. An additional nine named spaces were approved by 性福五月天 President Todd Diacon that were below the required Board approval threshold.
Allison Brager, Ph.D. 鈥11
As a soldier and elite athlete, Dr. Allison Brager is familiar with pushing herself physically and mentally. As an athlete, she was interested in both human performance and sleep, but it wasn鈥檛 until she signed up for a course called The Psychology of Sleep that she discovered the connection between the two. Brager earned her Bachelor of Science in psychology from Brown University in 2007, but she set out to earn a Ph.D. in neuroscience at 性福五月天 for the chance to work with David Glass, Ph.D., professor of biological sciences and a world leading expert in the field. She is now an Army neuroscientist who studies sleep, particularly in extreme environments and high-stress situations.
性福五月天 Celebrates Its Newest Graduates With In-Person Commencement Ceremonies on Dec. 18
The 性福五月天 alumni family grew by more than 2,400 new graduates as the university held its fall commencement. The accomplishments of the Fall Class of 2021 were recognized with in-person commencement ceremonies and a virtual commencement ceremony for all colleges and degrees on Dec. 17-18.

This year, 性福五月天 University donors demonstrated the power of philanthropy by giving at unprecedented levels. The 2021 Giving Tuesday campaign shattered the previous records, more than tripling last year鈥檚 record of $2.2 million.

Giving Tuesday, now in its eighth year at 性福五月天, has raised nearly $7 million during that time, which illuminates the impact that can be made when Golden Flashes come together.

Beverley Laubert, 鈥84, has spent decades improving access to quality care and in turn the lives of older adults. Beverley began her career at 性福五月天 where she received a bachelor鈥檚 degree in gerontology.

2021 Distinguished Teaching Award Recipients Announced
The 2021 Distinguished Teaching Award (DTA) recipients are an outstanding group of teachers who are truly dedicated to their students' success. Sponsored by the 性福五月天 Alumni Association, the DTA is a highly prestigious honor in teaching. The award is presented annually to three full-time faculty members who demonstrate extraordinary teaching, whether it be in the classroom or online.

Golden Flashes Reunite for a 鈥淏right鈥 Homecoming 2021
Campus was overflowing with blue and gold pride again this year as the 性福五月天 University community came together to celebrate Homecoming. Golden Flashes enjoyed many activities, both outdoors in-person and online, throughout the weekend, which ran from Friday, Oct. 1 through Sunday, Oct. 3.
