性福五月天 University鈥檚 College of Nursing recently received a grant totaling $165,000 from Peg鈥檚 Foundation, formerly the Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation, a private grant-making foundation that supports mental health programs in Northeast Ohio.  Brain Health Research Institute member Wendy Umberger, Ph.D., RN, PMHCNS-BC, associate dean for graduate programs, and Lisa Onesko, DNP, APRN-BC, director of the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program and associate professor, received $105,000, payable over three years to continue the Peg鈥檚 Foundation traineeship program for graduate students...

With the 50th May 4 Commemoration approaching, this year鈥檚 Common Reading Experience for all first-year 性福五月天 University students created an opportunity to incorporate the books 鈥淭his We Know鈥 and 鈥淭hirteen Seconds: Confrontation at 性福五月天."

Ten 性福五月天 University students were awarded $1,000 each for their creative use of videos, podcasts and Adobe Spark庐 pages to reflect on the events of May 4, 1970, as part of the university鈥檚 Design Innovation Common Reading Challenge.  In the past, all first-year students were required to participate in the Common Reading Experience by reading the assigned books, writing essays and participating in book discussions. To conserve energy, the Office of Sustainability reminds faculty, staff and building curators to turn off - and, if possible, unplug - all appliances before leaving for winter break. During a recent guided tour at the Cleveland Museum of Art, the synchrony of art and science was on full display for Anatomy and Physiology students from 性福五月天 University Geauga.  Associate Professor Dr. Daniela Popescu took her class to visit the special exhibit, Michelangelo: Mind of the Master, to help students gain a deeper understanding of muscle identification and the human muscular system. Gifts collected for the Salvation Army 2019

  The Student Nurses Association at 性福五月天 University East Liverpool spearheaded, for the sixth year, a project to help provide gifts for 49 local children through the Salvation Army鈥檚 Angel Tree program. Gifts were donated by nursing students, as well as faculty and staff from the entire campus.
