Mapping May 4 Accessible Tour
- Kent
Explore the areas around Taylor Hall with the scholars behind Mapping May 4. Visitors will tour sites learning about the events leading up to, during, and after the tragic shooting in 1970. This tour is based on the accessible tour in the Mapping May 4 website, which draws from the oral histories in the May 4 Collection, 性福五月天 Special Collections & Archives to better understand the events of May 4 through geography. If you are unable to come at this time you can take it as a self-guided tour. There are also several other story tours on the site that take you further across campus and into town. This tour requires less walking (or wheeling) and more gentle inclines than those do.
Duration: apx. 90 minutes.
Meet in the hallway outside the May 4 Visitors Center entrance, in front of the large wall map.
