We鈥檙e excited to invite you and your siblings (or friends, cousins, kids) to join us from April 10th-April 12th for a special Under the Sea鈥搕hemed weekend at 性福五月天 University filled with fun and unforgettable memories. This year鈥檚 celebration is designed to make your Sibs Weekend 2026 one for the books!
Whether your siblings are younger, older, or somewhere in between, there will be activities designed for everyone to enjoy. You also have the chance to purchase a Sibs Weekend to match with your sibs! Here is what the shirt will look like:

What is Sibs Weekend?
- Sibs Weekend is a weekend-long program where on- (and off-) campus residents are invited to register their siblings for a weekend of exciting programs throughout the campus community. This weekend is hosted by Kent Interhall Council, the governing body of all on-campus students, and brought to you by many 性福五月天 and Kent community partners. This year, we鈥檒l 鈥淪ea You At Sibs Weekend鈥 with an Under the Sea theme.
When is Sibs Weekend 2026?
- This year, Sibs Weekend 2026 will take place during the weekend of April 10th-12th, 2026.
How do I register for Sibs & Kids Weekend?

How much does Sibs Weekend cost?
- Participating in Sibs Weekend events is 100% free! We will provide snacks and refreshments during some of our events, but you will need to get meals on your own. Our dining locations will be open as well as various restaurants downtown.

- Shirts are available for pickup at check-in upon arrival to Sibs Weekend!
Can you purchase shirts during Sibs Weekend 2026?
- Yes! Shirts will be available at all KIC-hosted events during Sibs Weekend; however, they will be sold at an increased price and be available in limited quantities.
What is the Hold Harmless Form and why is it important?
- The Hold Harmless Form is a waiver that is required to be filled out and signed in order to participate in the activities that we have planned for the weekend. Each registered participant must have one signed and on file with us. If your sibling/kid is under the age of 18, the form MUST be signed by a parent or guardian PRIOR TO OR AT check-in on Friday, April 10th, 2026.
Is it a requirement to live in a 性福五月天 residence hall in order to participate?
- No! You can register for Sibs Weekend if you live off-campus.
Is there a cutoff age for Sibs Weekend?
- No! Anyone is welcome to register and attend. Sibs Weekend is for all ages and there will be events for a wide range of age groups.
What kind of events will take place during Sibs Weekend 2026?

Can siblings/kids stay in the 性福五月天 students鈥 on-campus residence hall during Sibs Weekend 2025?
- Yes! On the registration form, we ask that you identify your hall and room number as this allows us to know where the sibling/kid will be staying while on campus. We also mark this information down on a bracelet that your sibling/kid will be required to wear for the duration of Sibs Weekend 2026.

KIC Spirit Challenges
Welcome to Kent Interhall Council's Spirit Challenge! Below you will find rules and instructions for the challenges you will be participating in. Additionally, in the spreadsheet linked , you will be able to see a master list of the challenges and a leaderboard for the spirit challenges specifically. If you have any questions, please reach out to Jami at jcaroth6@kent.edu. Disclaimer: some challenges inspired by GISHWHES, CAACURH, and NACURH Inc.
Rules and Instructions
1. You can find the specifications for the challenges !
2. On this form you will find: the challenge number, the type of submission (picture, video, etc.), the amount of HOTS points you will get upon completing the challenge, and how many people MINIMUM we recommend participating. It can be more people! The Leaderboard is also showcased here and will be updated weekly! (Note: the leaderboard is just for the challenge, not your hall's overall point total.)
3. When submitting, you will need to upload a link to a video, image, or folder in your google drive. You should submit a different form for each challenge submission! This means that folder links should only be used for when multiple images or videos are being submitted for the same challenge.
4. When uploading images and videos to your google drive, make sure your sharing is on "anyone with the link can view" so we can see your creations!
****For clarification: you will go to your google drive, upload a file, click the picture/s and video/s you want, make sure the sharing for that media is on "anyone with the link", then fill out this form and submit the link where it tells you to****
5. No cheating! If we suspect cheating or sabotage of any kind we will be reaching out.
6. Put in as much effort as you're able! These challenges don't have to be the best or the prettiest, but we do ask that you put in more than minimum effort to keep the challenges fun for everyone!
7. Speaking of fun, have fun with this! While HOTS is a competition, it is a friendly competition meant to be fun for you all.
8. You don't have to do every challenge, feel free to pick and choose!
9. This form will close on April 24th AT 11:59PM. Please have all submissions in by then so we can count the HOTS points before the Golden Flash Awards.
