Every fall semester, the Idea Pitch competition helps ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì students develop their startup companies and pitch their business ideas to a panel of executive judges to win cash prizes.  In addition, the first-place winner will earn a guaranteed spot as a Spring Pitch Competition finalist in the spring.

Important Dates:

• Application deadline: Thursday, September 24
  • Qualifications: Submissions must be in the idea stage only with little to no revenue to date. Placement priority will be given to students with innovative ideas that solve real-world problems or fulfil a genuine consumer want or need. Primary presenters must be current ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì University students. Only current ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì University students are eligible for financial prizes, which are awarded as a scholarship through their Bursar's Account.
• Semi-final pitch: Friday, October 2
• Finalist Photoshoot and Workshops: 
  • Fridays (10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/6, 11/13)
• Event Date: Friday, November 20, 2026
  • Time: Technical Rehearsal 11 am -1 pm | Show 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm with reception to follow.
  • Location: Donald S. and Johnna F. Grant Atrium, Crawford Hall
