While your painted pebble dries, you’ll flow through a gentle yoga class designed to help you unwind and reset. It’s the perfect blend of art, movement and good vibes. The ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì LGBTQ+ Alumni Chapter is celebrating Homecoming 2025 following the Homecoming Parade! Join alumni, students, faculty and staff for light appetizers and a cash bar from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the Nineteen10 Restaurant in the ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì University Hotel and Conference Center. This event is free for students. Alumni tickets are $25. Parking is available in the PARTA Garage across from the hotel or in other public lots and meters throughout downtown Kent. We can't wait to see you in your blue and gold Oct. 11!
New kayakers can come learn kayaking skills. Participants may bring their own boats via the loading dock stairs and back entrance as long as the boats are FULLY CLEANED before entering the pool. If you don’t own a boat, one will be provided for you to use. Contact adventurecenter@kent.edu with any questions. Pre-registration IS REQUIRED by the Wednesday before each program.

This two-and-a-half hour program covers the basics of indoor climbing including equipment, bouldering, top rope climbing, and belaying with an ATC and Gri-gri device. This program sets up an individual with no prior experience to take our belay test which is required when purchasing a climbing wall membership.
Date & Time: Every other Mondays & Thursdays, Aug. 18 - Dec. 4 from 5:30 - 8 p.m.

College Late Night Skates are Wednesday nights at the KSU Ice Arena for ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì college students with a current college ID. Guests may accompany a KSU college student, but must be 18 years of age or older and have an ID.
Cost is $5 (includes skate rental)
No cash payments at the Skate Rental and Concession counters.
CREDIT/DEBIT CARD PAYMENT ONLY (Visa, MC, Discover)
Guests must be accompanied by a current KSU Student.
College Skate Night admission sales will begin 30-minutes prior to the session start time.
Free weekly event for students every Wednesday during the academic year providing wellness education, interactive activities, and giveaways. Participants do not need to be present the entire time.

As your senses soak in the soothing aromas of your creation, you’ll melt into a gentle, multilevel yoga flow. It’s the perfect blend of movement, mindfulness, and self-care.
The Frozen Flashes Learn to Skate Program is specially designed for KSU student skaters, offering a structured progression through five skill levels. Modeled after the Learn to Skate USA curriculum, each level introduces 10–11 foundational skills that build upon one another.
