The Special Education Transition-to-Work Endorsement Preparation non-degree program is designed for special educators who wish to prepare 4th- through 12th-grade students with disabilities for adult life. In addition to employment, this program also addresses issues related to residential, recreational, continuing education and other outcomes experienced by adults with and without disabilities.
The ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì Transition-to-Work endorsement leads to a single qualification applicable to all former transition roles (e.g., work study, VOSE, Option IV). For more information regarding the standards governing the endorsement, please visit Ohio's Department of Education.
This program does not culminate in a master's degree. Students interested in a master's degree at ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì must be fully admitted into and complete the requirements for the master's program, in addition to courses that are prescribed here for licensure. Coursework from a master's degree in special education may apply towards endorsement requirements.

The Special Education Pre-K Special Needs Endorsement Preparation non-degree program will prepare students to obtain the Ohio Pre-K Special Needs endorsement. Completion of the coursework is a prerequisite to being recommended by ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì University for this endorsement and endorsements are granted by the Ohio Department of Education.
This program prepares students to apply for an endorsement which can be added to any Special Education Intervention Specialist license, the Early Childhood Education teaching license and/or the Pre-K validation. The endorsement provides teachers with the coursework and field experiences necessary to work effectively with preschool-aged children with disabilities in a variety of settings.
This program does not culminate in a master's degree. Students interested in a master's degree at ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì must be fully admitted into and complete the requirements for the master's program, in addition to courses that are prescribed here for licensure.

The Special Education Early Childhood (PK-5) Additional Licensure Preparation non-degree program prepares students to obtain an additional Ohio Early Childhood Intervention Specialist (PK-5) license. This program is designed for individuals who have a current teaching license and are seeking an additional license to work with young children with diverse learning abilities in a variety of special education settings, from pre-kindergarten through grade 5.
Completion of the coursework is a prerequisite to being recommended by ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì University for licensure, and licenses are granted by the Ohio Department of Education.
This program does not culminate in a master's degree. Students interested in a master's degree at ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì must be fully admitted into and complete the requirements for the master's program, in addition to courses that are prescribed here for licensure.
This program is designed to prepare students to sit for applicable licensure or certification in Ohio.
