ESDRI Sustainability Forum: From Nature
- Kent
Join the Environmental Science and Design Research Institute (ESDRI) for a forum discussion with four experts whose work comes from nature in different ways. Don King, chef and wild food enthusiast, The Mushroom Hunter and director of applied mycology, Epiphany Mushroom Co; Michale Glennon, senior research scientist, Paul Smith's College Adirondack Watershed Institute; and Jess Boeke and Sarah Pottle, co-founders, Rust Belt Fibershed, will speak on their career pathway and current work and join in a conversation moderated by Taryn McMahon, M.F.A., associate professor, studio art division coordinator, 性福五月天 University.
In these presentations and conversations, we鈥檒l be exploring varying work from nature, including foraging wild edibles, demonstrating scientific data through art and natural fibers for ethical fashion. The conference is free to attend, but advance registration is required. A limited number of sponsorship opportunities are available for those interested in supporting the forum. More information regarding registration and sponsorships will be released later this summer.
